The Winter Sketch

№ 0002007020

Common

Abandoned timetables — kept in the North Ink stack.

Edition 2,007,020 of 1,000,000,000. 100 shapes, mostly rectangles, mostly lime. It sits in block 127,460, minted with that block's other 4,999 editions, scattered across the billion.

The slip is intact. Night archivist Berg set it down in letterpress, and the sheet shows fibers lifted where a label was peeled.

It is folio 20 of Rowan 1, in the Red Gallery, North Ink stack. Two witnesses disagree by a single unit.
