The Second Diary

№ 0809602000

Common

Well depths — kept in the Old Ink stack.

Edition 809,602,000 of 1,000,000,000. 100 shapes, mostly squares, mostly cobalt. It sits in block 160,538, minted with that block's other 4,999 editions, scattered across the billion.

The folio was found out of order. Binder Rahman set it down in a punched card, and the sheet shows a hairline tear at the foot.

It is folio 1000 of Elm 1, in the Last Vault, Old Ink stack. Two witnesses disagree by a single unit.
