The Folded Proof

№ 0079900000

Common

Abandoned timetables — kept in the North Clay stack.

Edition 79,900,000 of 1,000,000,000. 100 shapes, mostly squares, mostly brass. It sits in block 129,053, minted with that block's other 4,999 editions, scattered across the billion.

Filed without a date. Binder Marin set it down in letterpress, and the sheet shows fibers lifted where a label was peeled.

It is folio 1000 of Willow 10, in the Last Walk, North Clay stack. The instrument was recalibrated the next morning.
