The Faint Census

№ 0060009996

Common

Abandoned timetables — kept in the North Ash stack.

Edition 60,009,996 of 1,000,000,000. 100 shapes, mostly rectangles, mostly lilac. It sits in block 91,907, minted with that block's other 4,999 editions, scattered across the billion.

The folio was found out of order. Night archivist Abebe set it down in a silver print, and the sheet shows fibers lifted where a label was peeled.

It is folio 996 of Willow 1, in the Quiet Gallery, North Ash stack. The instrument was recalibrated the next morning.
