№ 0570503003

Common

Winter bird counts — kept in the Lower Clay stack.

Edition 570,503,003 of 1,000,000,000. 100 shapes, mostly triangles, mostly rust. It sits in block 72,155, minted with that block's other 4,999 editions, scattered across the billion.

Ink has browned at the edge. Proofreader Voss set it down in a punched card, and the sheet shows a hairline tear at the foot.

It is folio 3 of Pine 1, in the Quiet Arcade, Lower Clay stack. The instrument was recalibrated the next morning.
