The Black Orbit

№ 0497790002

Common

Abandoned timetables — kept in the Upper Copper stack.

Edition 497,790,002 of 1,000,000,000. 100 shapes, mostly triangles, mostly brass. It sits in block 67,065, minted with that block's other 4,999 editions, scattered across the billion.

Filed without a date. Copyist Moreau set it down in needle pricks, and the sheet shows fibers lifted where a label was peeled.

It is folio 2 of Cedar 10, in the Thin Range, Upper Copper stack. The instrument was recalibrated the next morning.
