The Tidal Tablet

№ 0040601006

Common

Winter bird counts — kept in the North Oak stack.

Edition 40,601,006 of 1,000,000,000. 100 shapes, mostly hexagons, mostly cobalt. It sits in block 16,057, minted with that block's other 4,999 editions, scattered across the billion.

Ink has browned at the edge. Proofreader Rahman set it down in needle pricks, and the sheet shows a hairline tear at the foot.

It is folio 6 of Elm 1, in the Quiet Vault, North Oak stack. Two witnesses disagree by a single unit.
