The Faint Cipher

№ 0039782007

Common

Winter bird counts — kept in the North Salt stack.

Edition 39,782,007 of 1,000,000,000. 100 shapes, mostly triangles, mostly tangerine. It sits in block 172,440, minted with that block's other 4,999 editions, scattered across the billion.

Ink has browned at the edge. Binder Sato set it down in iron-gall ink, and the sheet shows fibers lifted where a label was peeled.

It is folio 7 of Yew 9, in the Last Range, North Salt stack. The place-name on the slip no longer exists.
