The Thin Specimen

№ 0036601006

Common

Winter bird counts — kept in the North Salt stack.

Edition 36,601,006 of 1,000,000,000. 100 shapes, mostly circles, mostly sage. It sits in block 98,263, minted with that block's other 4,999 editions, scattered across the billion.

A later hand corrected the title. Binder Novak set it down in a carbon copy, and the sheet shows a crease through the third line.

It is folio 6 of Elm 1, in the Deep Vault, North Salt stack. The place-name on the slip no longer exists.
