The Hollow Sketch

№ 0030801009

Common

Abandoned timetables — kept in the North Salt stack.

Edition 30,801,009 of 1,000,000,000. 100 shapes, mostly circles, mostly lilac. It sits in block 35,662, minted with that block's other 4,999 editions, scattered across the billion.

Filed without a date. Keeper Berg set it down in needle pricks, and the sheet shows a hairline tear at the foot.

It is folio 9 of Elm 1, in the Quiet Walk, North Salt stack. The instrument was recalibrated the next morning.
