Winter bird counts — kept in the North Salt stack.

Edition 30,600,404 of 1,000,000,000. 100 shapes, mostly rectangles, mostly brass. It sits in block 142,765, minted with that block's other 4,999 editions, scattered across the billion.

A later hand corrected the title. Proofreader Ito set it down in soft pencil, and the sheet shows a pin hole at the left edge.

It is folio 404 of Cedar 1, in the Quiet Vault, North Salt stack. The instrument was recalibrated the next morning.
