The Ochre Pressing

№ 0030101006

Common

Winter bird counts — kept in the North Salt stack.

Edition 30,101,006 of 1,000,000,000. 100 shapes, mostly rectangles, mostly saffron. It sits in block 78,731, minted with that block's other 4,999 editions, scattered across the billion.

Someone numbered it in pencil. Copyist Ellis set it down in graphite, and the sheet shows fibers lifted where a label was peeled.

It is folio 6 of Elm 1, in the Quiet Hall, North Salt stack. The place-name on the slip no longer exists.
