№ 0029896401

Common

Winter bird counts — kept in the North Brass stack.

Edition 29,896,401 of 1,000,000,000. 100 shapes, mostly lines, mostly rose. It sits in block 88,510, minted with that block's other 4,999 editions, scattered across the billion.

A later hand corrected the title. Binder Walsh set it down in a wax rubbing, and the sheet shows a thumbprint in the margin.
