The Salt Treaty

№ 0029806004

Common

Winter bird counts — kept in the North Brass stack.

Edition 29,806,004 of 1,000,000,000. 100 shapes, mostly squares, mostly cobalt. It sits in block 38,982, minted with that block's other 4,999 editions, scattered across the billion.

Someone numbered it in pencil. Keeper Novak set it down in a wax rubbing, and the sheet shows a hairline tear at the foot.

It is folio 4 of Alder 1, in the Last Walk, North Brass stack. The place-name on the slip no longer exists.
