Common

Winter bird counts — kept in the North Ink stack.

Edition 297,998 of 1,000,000,000. 100 shapes, mostly circles, mostly tangerine. It sits in block 144,176, minted with that block's other 4,999 editions, scattered across the billion.

Ink has browned at the edge. Keeper Ellis set it down in letterpress, and the sheet shows a stamp riding off the edge.

It is folio 998 of Rowan 10, in the Quiet Aisle, North Ink stack. The place-name on the slip no longer exists.
