The Private Plate

№ 0029705000

Common

River soundings — kept in the North Brass stack.

Edition 29,705,000 of 1,000,000,000. 100 shapes, mostly lines, mostly cream. It sits in block 144,450, minted with that block's other 4,999 editions, scattered across the billion.

The folio was found out of order. Copyist Voss set it down in a wax rubbing, and the sheet shows fibers lifted where a label was peeled.

It is folio 1000 of Birch 1, in the Last Range, North Brass stack. The keeper signed it twice.
