Common

Winter bird counts — kept in the North Paper stack.

Edition 17,873,296 of 1,000,000,000. 100 shapes, mostly squares, mostly brass. It sits in block 3,006, minted with that block's other 4,999 editions, scattered across the billion.

Ink has browned at the edge. Proofreader Iqbal set it down in a wax rubbing, and the sheet shows fibers lifted where a label was peeled.

It is folio 296 of Pine 8, in the Thin Walk, North Paper stack. The count was revised downward.
