№ 0010000046

Common

Winter bird counts — kept in the North Paper stack.

Edition 10,000,046 of 1,000,000,000. 100 shapes, mostly squares, mostly brass. It sits in block 19,845, minted with that block's other 4,999 editions, scattered across the billion.

The slip is intact. Proofreader Moreau set it down in a silver print, and the sheet shows fibers lifted where a label was peeled.
